Effective 21 October 2026 · Operated by VISMARKS NIGERIA LIMITED, a company in formation in the Federal Republic of Nigeria (name reserved with the Corporate Affairs Commission, approval code 178096328517, 9 September 2026; incorporation pending), represented pending incorporation by its founder Ayanfe Mary-Grace Adesipe, with a planned affiliate in the United Arab Emirates.

VISMARKS is a protected brand. This page records our registered copyright, our trademark rights over the VISMARKS name and lightning-bolt sign, the symbols we use, and the rules for anyone who wants to refer to us.

1. Copyright notice

© 2026 VISMARKS. All rights reserved.

The VISMARKS platform, software, design, text, graphics, generated Official Stage content and this website are the property of VISMARKS NIGERIA LIMITED and are protected by copyright, registered with the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) under certificate LW17172 (“VISMARKS”, Literary Work, registered 10 October 2026) and by the Copyright Act, 2022 (section 43 presumptions). Unauthorised copying, framing, scraping or reproduction is prohibited.

VISMARKS™ and the red lightning-bolt device™ are trademarks of VISMARKS NIGERIA LIMITED, accepted by the Trademarks Registry, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Nigeria (application NG/TM/O/2026/476625, Class 42, filed 10 October 2026, accepted 17 October 2026); registration certificate pending. Our slogans are also claimed as trademarks. Use requires written permission — see the Brand & IP notice.

VISMARKS was created in 2026 by its founder, Ayanfe Mary-Grace Adesipe.

This notice appears on every page of the Platform, in our emails, and on every Official Stage card, flyer and video we publish. Public records at the Nigerian Copyright Commission and the Trademarks Registry independently evidence ownership and dates.

2. Founder and ownership

VISMARKS was created and founded in 2026 by Ayanfe Mary-Grace Adesipe, who authored the original work registered with the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) under certificate LW17172 and conceived the VISMARKS name, the lightning-bolt sign and the "always live" marketplace model.

Following the practice of the world's leading platforms, the brand and all intellectual property are held by the operating company, VISMARKS NIGERIA LIMITED, which the founder controls. The founder's registered copyright and the accepted trademark application (filed through Shelters on the go Limited as applicant of record) are being assigned in writing to VISMARKS NIGERIA LIMITED upon its incorporation and recorded with the Nigerian Copyright Commission and the Trademarks Registry; this page will carry the registration and assignment references when issued.

Applicant of record: Shelters on the go Limited, Abuja, Nigeria — a registered company holding the application as a temporary custodian for the VISMARKS founder; the mark will be assigned to VISMARKS once its incorporation in Nigeria and the UAE completes, and this page will be updated. Authority: Trademarks Registry, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Nigeria. Filed 10 October 2026; accepted 17 October 2026 (Class 42 — design and development of computer software; technological services). The acceptance letter confirms the application will be advertised in the Trademarks Journal and proceed to registration; our rights run from the filing date. We also assert common-law and passing-off rights in the marks through use in Nigeria and internationally, and will extend protection to further classes (35 — retail and advertising services; 41 — entertainment and live events; 9 — software) and territories as the business grows.

5. Why ™ and not ® (yet)

We show ™ on our marks today because the application is accepted but the registration certificate has not yet issued. Under Nigeria's Trade Marks Act it is an offence to represent a mark as registered (®) before it is. The moment the certificate issues we switch every notice to ® automatically — it is a one-line change — and record the registration number here.

6. What you may do

  • Refer to VISMARKS in plain text to describe that you sell, host or shop on the Platform ("Available on VISMARKS", "Live on my VISMARKS Stage").
  • Share links, screenshots and clips of your own Stage, listings and live shows, including the VISMARKS interface that appears in them.
  • Use the official badges and share-cards the Platform generates for you (they already carry the mark correctly).
  • Journalists and reviewers may use the name and logo to identify the company in editorial coverage.

7. What you may not do

  • Use VISMARKS, the lightning-bolt device or any confusingly similar name, logo, colour scheme or slogan as, or as part of, your own brand, shop name, domain, app, social handle or product.
  • Alter, recolour, animate, distort or combine our logo with other elements, or use it as your profile picture.
  • Suggest sponsorship, partnership, certification or endorsement by VISMARKS without a written agreement.
  • Register or use domains, handles or keywords containing our marks (e.g. vismarks-deals.com, @vismarksofficial) — we recover these.
  • Copy, scrape, mirror, frame or republish Platform pages, listings, Official Stage content, music beds or data.
  • Use our marks on counterfeit, prohibited or infringing goods, or in any content that breaches the Community Guidelines.

8. Sellers and creators using the brand

Your shop and Stage names must be your own. Names that include "VISMARKS", "Vismark", "VSMARKS" or the lightning device are reserved for the company and are blocked or reclaimed. When you promote your shop, say "on VISMARKS" rather than making VISMARKS look like your brand. Official badges ("Verified", "Founding seller") are licensed to you only while you hold them and must not be reproduced elsewhere.

9. Press, partners and permission

For co-branding, partnerships, merchandise, events or any use not listed above, request written permission from legal@vismarks.com describing the use, medium, territory and duration. Approved partners receive brand guidelines and files. Permission can be withdrawn on notice.

10. Enforcement

We monitor marketplaces, app stores, social networks and domain registries. Infringement is pursued under the Copyright Act 2022, the Trade Marks Act, the law of passing off and the Cybercrimes Act, as well as foreign law where the infringement occurs, through takedown notices, UDRP/domain complaints, platform reports and court action in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria. To report misuse of our brand or copying of our content, email ip@vismarks.com; to report counterfeits sold on the Platform, use the IP & Counterfeit Policy.
