How VISMARKS handles your data

VISMARKS operates this marketplace and is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy request, contact us at privacy@vismarks.com.

• Account data — email, name, password (stored hashed), role, company. Legal basis: contract performance.
• Order data — products bought or sold, quantities, amounts, timestamps. Legal basis: contract performance and legal (accounting) obligations.
• Payout data (sellers) — bank name, account number and account-holder name, passed to our payment providers to settle your sales. Legal basis: contract performance. We never store card numbers.
• Usage analytics — anonymous page views and campaign tags (UTM), collected first-party only and only after you accept analytics in the cookie notice. Legal basis: consent.
• Emails — the weekly digest is sent only if you opt in; every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe. Legal basis: consent.

• Paystack, Stripe, Flutterwave — payment processing and seller settlements. Card and bank data is handled on their secure hosted pages.
• Resend — transactional and (consented) marketing email delivery.
• Google — only if you choose "Sign in with Google".
• Hosting infrastructure — our application and database hosting provider.

We never sell your personal data.

Account data is kept while your account is active. Order and payment records are retained for accounting and legal obligations even after account deletion, but are anonymized (your name and email are removed). Analytics events are aggregate and not tied to your identity.

• Access & portability — download everything we hold about you in one click from Privacy & data.
• Erasure — delete your account yourself from the same page, any time.
• Rectification — update your details in your account, or email us.
• Objection & consent withdrawal — switch off the weekly digest in Privacy & data or via the unsubscribe link in any email; decline analytics in the cookie notice.
• Complaint — you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

• Essential (always on) — secure login cookies (HttpOnly) that keep you signed in, and the referral code that credits the partner who invited you.
• Analytics (only with your consent) — first-party page-view counts and campaign tags. No third-party ad trackers, ever.

VISMARKS is a marketplace: each product is sold by the named seller, who is responsible for shipping, fulfilment and returns. Seller identity is shown on every listing. EU consumers may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases — contact the seller shown on your order, or us, to exercise it. You can report any listing you believe is illegal or misleading using the "Report listing" link on the product page.
